It's God's War
By Judson Cornwall

From Satan's creation to his ultimate defeat at Calvary, Jesus Christ has been absolute victor over the devil, whose defeat is as real as the morning sunrise. That defeat was prophesied in Genesis, declared and witnessed by Jesus and described in the book of Revelation. It is unnecessary therefore for us to now declare a war that has always belonged to God and for which we know the end result. It's God's War.

August
Secret Powder
By Dwight L. Moody

Dwight L. Moody believed that the power of the Holy Spirit had been too much overlooked, as though it were not practical.

Moody wrote, "The result is lack of power in testimony and work. If we would work, 'not as one that beats the air,' but to some definite purpose, we must have this power from on high. Without this power, our work will be drudgery. With it, it becomes a joyful task, a refreshing service. May God make this book a blessing to many. This is my prayer."

July
Always Enough
By Heidi Baker

God's love and power are never limited. The most desperate poverty, devastating illness, even the most heart-wrenching grief is not beyond God's help. Rolland and Heidi Baker share the miracles they experience every day in their work with Mozambique's "throw-away" children.

Praying Like Jesus
By James Mulholland

Alarmed by recent books that he feels are based on a false understanding of prayer as a formula for prosperity, Mulholland offers a different perspective. His meditation on the Lord's Prayer focuses on self-denial, commitment, compassion, and gratitude---the point of conversation with God is not to get what you want, but to receive what you need.

May
The Family Blessing
By Rolf Garborg

In The Family Blessing, businessman and father Rolf Garborg shares how blessing his children flowed over to bless his entire family. You'll see how a moment each day can change the future of your family in an amazing way!

April
God's Chosen Fast
By Arthur Willis

Having proved over many years the great value and blessing of fasting, the author has written this book to share with others what the Bible has to say about this important and neglected subject. His aim has been to furnish a handbook which deals not only with all the main passages in Scripture that touch on the matter, but also with the practical issues involved. This is a balanced study which seeks to give to the subject that weight that Scripture gives it and avoids exaggeration and over-emphasis. The book includes a biblical index, and a appendix dealing with the textual problems surrounding four references to fasting in the New Testament.

March
Saving Levi
By Lisa Misrage Bentley.

Lisa and John Bentley went to China to build an orphanage in a village near Beijing. Soon after their arrival, a 6-week-old baby boy, with burns on over 70% of his body, was found in a field and brought to them. This is just the beginning of Levi’s story. Saving Levi brings together the stories of believers and non-believers alike whom God used to save the life of this little boy and help him heal. Levi’s story has already united people around the world through E-mail, prayer, and word of mouth. This is a book about the value of life and a loving God who uses whomever He pleases to accomplish His will.

I Dared to Call Him Father
by Bilquis Sheikh

This book was so heartwarming. I loved how she takes us step-by-step through her walk with God, out of Islam into Christianity from when God first introduces His son to her through a dream. I also appreciate how she even included her prayers/conversations with God. It makes you feel that you are there, or she is your best friend relating the events. There is some amazing spiritual food in this book, as well as insight to how fanatical and intolerant Muslims are to Christians and if any Muslim converts to Christianity, it is their "death sentence"! Is there any other religion in the world that kills their own people, including family, just because they join another faith? I don't know of one. Even though these detestable facts are in the book, I still encourage anyone to read it who would love to know how to have a close personal relationship with our Father-God. It will warm your heart and have you praising God often throughout the reading, just because He is so loving, and good. Chris H - reviewer
