The ACLU vs. America
by Alan Sears and Craig Osten
As a result of the work of the American Civil Liberties Union and their war on America, we now live in a country where the church has been progressively silenced, parental authority has been undermined, children are less safe, and human life continues to be cheapened-both at birth and death. While the ACLU and its allies in the media have positioned themselves as the great defenders of freedom, they are in reality eliminating the freedoms of millions of Americans. Sadly, most Americans are unaware of the extreme positions of the ACLU.
But there is hope.  Many Americans are waking up to the dangerous agenda of the ACLU.  The ACLU vs. America will clue readers in to the culture wars that are afoot and will equip them to become effective agents for liberty and freedom against the ACLU onslaught.

by Joel C. Rosenberg
With over one million novels in print, New York Times best-selling author Joel C. Rosenberg has been called "eerily prophetic" and a "modern Nostradamus" for his uncanny ability to write political thrillers that come true. In his first nonfiction book, this evangelical Christian from an Orthodox Jewish heritage takes readers on an unforgettable journey through prophecy and current events into the future of Iraq after Saddam, Russia after Communism, Israel after Arafat, and Christianity after radical Islam.

Inside Islam
by Reza F. Safa
A former radical Shiite Muslim unashamedly speaks out and exposes radical fundamental beliefs in his book "Inside Islam." Reza Safa, openly talks about the spirit of Islam from an insider’s point of view. Safa is well-versed in the laws and history of Islam. Radical Muslims claim to believe that the Bible is untrue, eternal life is only attained by sacrifice in a holy war and that Christians are naïve and weak in their beliefs. He explains that they seem to have a lust for martyrdom and their lives are lived in fear of their god, Allah. "Fear is the darkroom in which Satan develops his negatives," says Rafa as he tells how Islam contradicts the facts and truths of the Bible. "Inside Islam" is a magnifying glass that lets you see deep into Muslim culture and society

Fields of the  Fatherless

by Tom Davis
Did you know that you're adopted? Before knowing Christ, we are all spiritual orphans, lost and in need of a loving family. And all over the world there are over 143 million children without families and loving homes. In "Fields of the Fatherless," Tom Davis reminds us that adoption is at the heart of Christianity. Therefore, as we have been adopted into God's family we should consider blessing those less fortunate. Learn about God's heart for orphans and become the hands and feet of Jesus to children in need.

The Difference A Father Makes

by Ed Tandy McGlasson
This compact book gave me surprisingly practical and inspiring answers to questions I've struggled with as a father to three teenage kids - "How do I develop a deep and affirming relationship with my children, help them grow them into what they're capable of, and let them know when they've crossed the `goal-line' into adulthood?"

The author - who is an active pastor, ex-professional football player, and father of five - uses moving examples from his own family life, anecdotes from his pastoral counseling work, and surprisingly relevant and poignant stories from the Bible to paint a road map for fathers like me who do indeed want to make a difference in the lives of their kids.

 Breaking Free
 by Lauraine Snelling
As the novel opens, Maggie Roberts is serving time in prison for an unnamed crime, which is revealed later.  Maggie is enrolled in a new, experimental program that offers prisoners the chance to work with retired racehorses. Before she knows it, Maggie has helped rehabilitate a horse (named Breaking Free), and she might be fast-tracked for parole, if only she can secure a job on the outside. Enter Gil Winters. Abandoned by his ex-wife, he's heroically raising a precocious son, Eddie, who, despite suffering from spina bifida, has learned to ride. Gil would buy Eddie his own horse, but he'd need to hire a caretaker for the animal as well. The characters have depth, and the tale of faith, forgiveness and starting over is inspiring.

George Washington Carver the Man who Overcame

By Lawrence Elliott
George Washington Carver was among the best-known American figures of this century and perhaps the single most renowned black American of his time. A white society unaccustomed to ascribing brilliance to blacks acclaimed him a genius. “Professor Carver has taken Thomas Edison’s place as the world’s greatest living scientist,” Henry Ford announced near the end of Carver’s life; Senator Champ Clark of Carver’s native Missouri called him “one of the foremost scientists of all the world for all time.” Upon Carver’s death in 1943, Congress passed and President Roosevelt signed legislation making his birthplace a national monument—an honor previously granted only Washington and Lincoln. Last spring Carver was enshrined in the Hall of Fame for Great Americans in New York City.
Carver’s scientific discoveries and his transformation of Southern agriculture can truly be described as legendary—in the fullest sense. For Carver was both less and more than he seemed. What he did was less important than what he was and the larger purposes his existence served for blacks and whites alike.
